Beyond Endowment Fund For Linn-Mar’s Future

Linn-Mar School Foundation’s endowment is a permanent pool of funds that generates interest income every year. At this time, 4.5 percent of the fund’s annual earned income is targeted for distribution to schools in support of excellence and innovation. The Beyond Endowment Fund is approaching a million dollars and managed by the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation.

The Foundation invites our parents, grandparents, community members and businesses to help invest in our future by supporting our endowment with gifts through cash, estate, planned, and other long-term giving opportunities. The majority of the Foundation’s endowment is held by the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation.

Please contact the Foundation for an informative packet of materials about giving to the Beyond endowment. Special tax incentives and recognition honors are available to most donors. The Endow Iowa tax credit allows donors to take a 25 percent Iowa tax credit in addition to normal state and federal charitable tax deductions.
