Smart Money Campaign
Each year, the Linn-Mar School Foundation’s Smart Money campaign reaches out to Linn-Mar parents and friends with news of programs and projects in need of funding. The annual fund is dedicated to making a direct impact in our schools this year. Our goal is to raise $25,000 in honor of both the Foundation's 25th anniversary as well as the district's unparalleled financial need. The Foundation's focus continues to be district-wide, cross curricular and education-based support for innovative new programs and fundamental curriculum areas.
The Linn-Mar School District will cut nearly $3 million out of school budgets next year due to the state's 10 percent budget cut. While this has no impact on construction projects, which are funded with restricted tax dollars, this could affect every school and many cherished programs.
How can you help?
Whether you have $1 or $100, this is the year to give generously to Linn-Mar schools. Two special giving opportunities are included in this year's Smart Money Campaign: the Friends Challenge and the Founders Circle. For $25 you can become a Friend of the Foundation and join hundreds of families who are making an impact this year. Our Founders have initiated another kind of challenge. They are encouraging the Linn-Mar community to give as never before by asking others to join them in the $250 Founders Circle.
Any contribution, at any level, will help our schools! There's never been a more important time to give to Linn-Mar.
