Endowment Fund
Linn-Mar School Foundation’s endowment is a permanent pool of funds that generates interest income every year. At this time, five percent of the fund’s annual income is targeted for distribution to schools in support of excellence and innovation. The Beyond Endowment Fund is expected to grow to over one million dollars. The Foundation plans to aggressively pursue future gifts to the endowment through estate, planned, and other long-term giving opportunities. The majority of the Foundation’s endowment is held by the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation.
Please contact the Foundation for an informative packet of materials about giving to the Beyond endowment. Special tax incentives and recognition honors are available to most donors. The Endow Iowa tax credit allows donors to take a 25 percent Iowa tax credit in addition to normal state and federal charitable tax deductions.
