25th Anniversary: Mission Accomplished, New One to Accept
Twenty-five years ago, forward-thinking district leaders created the Linn-Mar School Foundation. Their mission: to maintain, develop, increase and extend the facilities and service of the Linn-Mar Community School District, and to provide broader educational service opportunities to its students, staff, faculty and the residents of the geographical area which it serves.
Today, that mission is alive and well as the current Foundation Board of Trustees helps ensure that Linn-Mar's tradition of excellence extends into the 21st century with innovative new programs and measurable success in fundamental curriculum areas.

Anniversary Events
October, 2009
Oct. 9th - Homecoming parade. Founders invited to ride in the Foundatin's silver anniversary truck during the parade.

November, 2009
Founders invited to participate in the Smart Money fund drive "Founders Challenge to the Community" - a 1:1 challenge grant encouraging parents and alumni to raise $25,000 this year in honor of the Foundation's anniversary. Smart Money contributions support the Foundation's operations, as well as school projects throughout the year.
April, 2010
Founders and all Linn-Mar supporters invited to "Take a Trip Back to the '80's" and attend "Back to the Future" 2010 Mane Event. The 2010 Mane Event promises to be our best benefit auction and dinner yet, featuring a new venue, exciting silver anniversary raffle, music, and themed live and silent auction items.
September, 2010 - Founder's Dinner (date change)
Plan to attend the Founder's Dinner to honor the individuals who established the Foundation in 1985 and those families who now support its historic endowment, a fund for long-term innovation throughout the district. Invitations will be sent in August or September. Become involved by being part of the planning committee. Consider a Legacy (estate or long-term), Beyond (endowment) or other commemorative donation to be announced at the dinner.
